In an official statement released by Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr. Martin Rushwaya, it was announced that Dr. Nicholas Moyo has been appointed as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Sports, Recreation, Arts, and Culture with immediate effect. The appointment was made by His Excellency the President in accordance with Section 205 [1] of the Constitution of Zimbabwe.
Dr. Moyo, who previously served as the director of the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ), brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. His deep understanding of the arts and culture sector, coupled with his unwavering commitment to its growth and development, makes him an outstanding choice.
