Harare, Zimbabwe – 1 September 2023 – The Zimbabwean film industry is buzzing with anticipation as the deadline for submissions to the prestigious Zimbabwe Annual Film and Television Awards (ZAFTAs) draws near. Filmmakers and industry stakeholders are reminded that the submission deadline is set for September 10, 2023.
The Cinema Society of Zimbabwe, the esteemed organization behind the ZAFTAs, invites all eligible filmmakers to submit their entries for consideration in this highly acclaimed event. Films can be submitted at the Cinema Society of Zimbabwe offices located in Harare, Gweru, Bulawayo, Gwanda, and Mutare.
The ZAFTAs, promising a grand red carpet and awards ceremony, will be held in Harare on December 2, 2023. This highly anticipated event promises to be a dazzling celebration of the exceptional talent and creativity within the Zimbabwean film and television industry.
